Assistant Category Manager

\nSupport above‑threshold procurement (PA23/PCR2015) including key docs and notices. \nSupport contract management, KPI capture and benefits reporting (savings/social value). \nAdvise stakeholders and build strong supplier relationships.

\n \nWhat we're looking for \n \nEssential \n \nGCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. \nCIPS Foundation (or equivalent) or commitment to work towards. \nProcurement experience running RFQs/tenders and keeping accurate records.

\nKnowledge of public sector procurement and collaborative frameworks. \nExperience in contract management and/or supplier negotiation, with evidence of delivering savings/benefits. \nStrong IT skills (e‑tendering tools and Microsoft Office) plus clear communication and organisation.
