Brake Press Setter / Operator\n\nLocation: Cradley Heath\n\nJob Type: Full-Time\n\nPay Rate: £15.00 per hour\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to join a busy engineering and fabrication environment based in Cradley Heath. The business specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke metal products, including components for the materials handling and forklift truck industry, working to high standards of precision and quality.\n\nThis is a hands-on role requiring a skilled individual with prior experience operating and setting brake press machinery, specifically Edward Pearson machines.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSet up and operate brake press machinery (Edward Pearson) to produce high-quality components\nInterpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately\nCarry out bending, forming, and fabrication of metal components\nPerform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks\nAdjust machine settings to ensure precision and adherence to tolerances\nWork with a variety of materials including mild steel and aluminium\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment\nCollaborate with fabrication and welding teams to meet production targets\n\nRequirements\n\nEssential: Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator\nExperience operating Edward Pearson brake press machines\nAbility to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nGood understanding of fabrication processes within an engineering environment\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nPrevious experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting\nKnowledge of working on bespoke or batch production projects\nFamiliarity with general sheet metal work\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive hourly rate of £15.00 per hour\nFull-time, stable position\nOpportunity to work within a skilled engineering and fabrication team\nVaried and interesting workload involving bespoke manufacturing \n\nAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
