Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Retail Fit Out & Refurbishment Projects)\n\nLocation: Leeds, West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)\n\nSalary: £54,000 to £58,000 + Car Allowance\n\nThe Role\n\nMechanical Design Engineer responsible for producing and completing mechanical engineering drawings and installation packages for retail clients (M&S, ASDA, Morrisons, Tesco & Boots) nationwide.\n\nExperience, Knowledge & Qualifications \n\nFor this role you must possess the following; \n\nPrevious experience working on Mechanical packages on Retail projects\nPrevious experience using CAD & Revit (Essential)\nExperience in designing and delivering mechanical engineering solutions\nDegree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)Duties\n\nProducing technical design calculations and associated reports\nData analysis\nProduce calculations and supporting analysis to develop mechanical solutions for clients\nConduct surveys and site assessments to identify suitable mechanical solutions\nMeet with clients and other stakeholders to determine requirements\nSupport contractors with development of suitable mechanical designs\nAssess the suitability of contractor designs and provide critical analysis\nConduct inspections during and on completion to ensure alignment with design standards\nWork with wider team to develop solutions to client needs\nProduction of accurate drawings\nProduction of accurate design calculations\nProducing work to client deadlines\nResponding to stakeholder queries promptlyContacts to Apply:\n Sam Hunter - Associate Director: (phone number removed)\n Cameron Lally - Senior Resourcer: (phone number removed)
