Nursery Practitioner 

Pay Rate: £90 - £120 per day

Location: Godalming

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive early years team. This role involves working with young children, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports their early development and learning.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the learning and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs and development.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety standards are always maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Relevant childcare qualification (desirable).
