One to One Tutor

The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.\n\nIt is Prospero's mission to raise the standard of support given to vulnerable young people throughout the UK. As such, we are looking for a passionate, creative and holistic [Subject] tutor, eager to provide academic support and guidance to students in a one-on-one or small-group setting, improving their educational journey.\n\nContract/Position Details:\n\nLocation - Within the community or pupils' home in Bolton\nPosition -GCSE Tutor\nType of work - Contract\nStart date - ASAP\nDuration - Ongoing\nEnd date (if applicable) - Ongoing\nContract type - Temporary\nFull-time/part-time - Part time\nMinimum rate of pay - £25 per hour\nHours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications of the English, Maths and Science Tutor:\n\nQTS or equivalent or tutoring experience\nPossess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential\nBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box\nHave experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:\n\nHold the right to work in the UK\nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application\nProvide two professional child-related references
