Job Description

Position: Primary Teacher, PPA cover, KS1/KS2\nLocation: Liverpool\nStart Date: September \nSalary: £32,916 - £45,352\n\nWe are seeking an inspirational, dynamic and highly motivated teacher with experience in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum. The school is open to applications from ECT applications alongside qualified teachers also. \n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive school community that prides itself on providing high-quality early education and care.

The role will continue until at least February half term, with the potential for extension beyond this date.\n\nThe Role:\n\n- Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.\n\n- Planning and delivering play-based, child-centred lessons aligned with the Early Years Framework.\n\n- Supporting the individual needs of all children to ensure progress and inclusion.\n\n- Working collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.\n\n- Promoting children's social, emotional, and language development through creative and hands-on learning experiences.\n\n- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child's development and wellbeing.\n\n- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with school and EYFS expectations.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n- A passionate EYFS Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.\n\n- A minimum of two years' teaching experience within an Early Years setting.\n\n- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development.\n\n- A creative, nurturing, and flexible teaching approach.\n\n- Experience supporting children with SEND and diverse learning needs.\n\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with staff and families.\n\n- The ability to provide two professional references and hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n- A supportive partnership with Aspire People, one of the UK's leading education recruitment agencies.\n\n- Continuous professional development and guidance from our dedicated education consultants.\n\n- Competitive pay rates, reflective of your skills and experience.\n\n- Access to local school placements across Sefton and Liverpool.\n\n- Refer a Friend Bonus of £250 - recommend a friend and be rewarded!\n\n- Joining Bonus of £100 after completing your first 10 days of work - no obligation!\n\nApply now with your up-to-date CV. \n\n#INDT\n\nAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
