• Support service users from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
• Deliver high-quality care to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm.
• Promote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.

Core Duties

1. Assessment & Planning
   • Conduct screening, triage, and risk assessments.
   • Develop recovery plans tailored to individual needs.
   • Assess suitability for group work and onward referrals. [cdn.cocodoc.com]
2. Interventions
3. Deliver psychosocial interventions (e.g., CBT-based approaches).
4. Provide harm minimisation and brief interventions.
5. Facilitate 1-to-1 key work sessions, group work, and structured programs. [cdn.cocodoc.com], [findajob.dwp.gov.uk]
7. Recovery Support
8. Help individuals build recovery resources and access peer/mutual aid groups.
9. Support social reintegration and resilience building.
10. Promote recovery communities and links with local support networks. [cdn.cocodoc.com], [goodmoves.org]
12. Collaboration
13. Work with prescribing clinicians to support substitute prescribing regimes.
14. Liaise with multi-agency partners (healthcare, housing, probation, etc.).
15. Advocate for service users to access wider health and social care services. [cdn.cocodoc.com], [socialimpactjobs.org]
17. Safeguarding & Compliance
18. Ensure confidentiality and consent protocols are followed.
19. Adhere to safeguarding practices for children and vulnerable adults.
