Overview:\n\n * This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of materials, equipment, and services to support operations and project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead procurement activities across multiple projects and operational requirements\n\n * Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with business and technical needs\n\n * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and framework agreements to achieve best value\n\n * Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and performance targets are met\n\n * Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and requirements\n\n * Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures\n\n * Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks within engineering and industrial sectors\n\n * Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement within the supply chain\n\n * Resolve supplier issues, including delays, non-conformance, and commercial disputes\n\n * Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety requirements\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role within engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry\n\n * Strong negotiation and contract management skills\n\n * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements\n\n * Experience managing complex supply chains and working with international suppliers\n\n * Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools\n\n * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills\n\n * Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Experience within power, utilities, or industrial infrastructure sectors\n\n * Knowledge of fabrication, mechanical, or electrical components procurement
