Service Engineer

An established and rapidly growing UK-based engineering business, specialising in precision manufacturing and advanced industrial machinery solutions, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced metal fabrication machinery and manufacturing equipment, supporting a diverse customer base across multiple high-spec industries.\n\nReporting to the UK Service Manager, this is a national position supporting customers with installation, maintenance, and technical service on a range of industrial machinery across the UK and Ireland.\n\nService Engineer Responsibilities\n\nCarry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of metal fabrication machinery and industrial manufacturing equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.\nDiagnose faults and perform both mechanical and electrical repairs on a range of production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.\nDeliver preventative maintenance and planned service schedules to optimise machine performance and reliability.\nProduce detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation following site visits.\nSupport machine installations, upgrades, retrofits, and customer training when required.\nStay up to date with emerging manufacturing technologies and product developments to maintain a high level of technical expertise.Service Engineer Requirements\n\nDemonstrable experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Service Technician within an engineering or manufacturing environment.\nPrevious experience working with industrial machinery, CNC equipment, metal fabrication machinery, automation systems, or other production equipment.\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.\nHND qualification or equivalent time-served engineering background.\nFull UK driving licence.\nDesire to learn and progress within a growing business.Package and Benefits\n\nSalary up to £48,000\nPrivate Healthcare\nCompany Bonus\nCompany VehicleIf you're a hands-on engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working with advanced engineering technology, apply today!\n\nASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
