Site Engineer\n\nLocation: Stoke-on-Trent\nEmployment Type: Permanent\nHours: Full Time - 45 hours per week\n\nAbout the Role\n\nDanny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of one of our key clients delivering major infrastructure and civil engineering works within the water sector.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a well-established contractor working across complex civil engineering schemes.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nHealth, Safety & Environment\n\nPromote safe working practices across site operations\nEnsure compliance with company procedures and legal obligations\nSupport environmental compliance and best practice\nDeliver works safely and efficiently\n\nQuality\n\nEnsure all works are completed to specification and defect free\nMaintain accurate site records and documentation\nIdentify and highlight value engineering opportunities where possible\nFollow company quality procedures and standards\n\nSite Engineering Duties\n\nEstablish level and survey control for projects\nSet out detailed works in accordance with contract drawings\nCarry out regular checks to ensure accuracy\nResolve technical issues and site challenges as they arise\nProduce procurement schedules and liaise with procurement teams\nPrepare ITPs and Task Briefings\nProduce 2-week look-ahead programmes alongside site management\nComplete Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nPrevious setting out experience on civil engineering projects\nGood understanding of construction methods, health & safety and industry regulations\nExperience using robotic total stations or EDM instruments\nDegree/HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering\nStrong communication and organisational skills\nSelf-motivated with a proactive attitude\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office\nTemporary Works Co-ordinator experience\nCSCS Card\nCable avoidance training\nFirst Aid qualification\nNEBOSH or IOSH certification\n\nRequirements\n\nCSCS Card\nWater industry experience preferred but not essential\nMinimum 3 years' setting out experience\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary\nCompany pension\nPrivate medical cover\nCareer progression opportunities\nOngoing training and development\nLong-term project opportunitiesIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your updated CV or contact Danny Sullivan Group for more information.\n\nINDWC\n\nDanny Sullivan Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
