Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Bradford\n\n- Up to £35,000 OTE (Depending on experience and qualifications)\n- Full-Time | Permanent\n- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings\n\nBenefits\n\n * 33 days holiday including bank holidays\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\n * Life insurance\n\n * Employee ownership scheme\n\n * Retail, restaurant, holiday and lifestyle discount programme\n\n * Ongoing manufacturer and technical training\n\n * Excellent career progression opportunities\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a successful and growing automotive group in Bradford.\n\nThis role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working within a professional and supportive workshop environment.\n\nYou will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle preparation to the highest standards, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Perform routine servicing and maintenance\n\n * Carry out mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis\n\n * Conduct vehicle health checks (VHCs)\n\n * Prepare vehicles to a high standard\n\n * Complete MOT testing (if qualified)\n\n * Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures\n\n * Maintain accurate job records and documentation\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nTo be considered, you should have:\n\n * IMI Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair\n\n * At least 2 years' experience in the motor trade\n\n * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills\n\n * Good communication and teamwork abilities\n\n * A proactive and reliable approach to work\n\nDesirable (but not essential)\n\n * MOT Tester licence\n\n * IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles\n\n * IMI F-Gas qualification\n\n * Main dealer or franchised dealership experience\n\nWhat’s on Offer?\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding automotive business that invests heavily in its people.
